In second place is the 2 km long Iguazu Falls, pouring water down at a rate of one thousand cubic meters per second. This waterfall actually consists of 275 large and small waterfalls, originating in a tropical rainforest in Argentina, close to the Brazilian border.

At number 3 is Angel Falls, the highest straight waterfall in the world with a height of 979 meters. The name Angel Falls in Pemon language is Kerepakupai Vená, which means “waterfall of the deepest place”. This waterfall falls into the Gauja River, then the water flows to the Carrao River. The English name Angel of this waterfall is named after an American pilot who was the first person to fly over Angel waterfall.
